The Priority: Protein First
When your appetite is suppressed, protein is the first thing most patients under-eat. Aim for protein at every meal. Your body still needs the same amount of protein — you’re just eating it in a smaller total volume.
Hydration and Fiber
Many GLP-1 side effects (nausea, constipation) are worsened by dehydration and low fiber intake. Both are easy to address but frequently overlooked.
